It's easy to reuse Adalo data within your chatbot. No need to ask the name or email of your users. Your chatbot can know who is behind the session!
To pass the data from Adalo to Joonbot, you can add UTM parameters to your full page link in your web view component.
If you don't understand what I'm talking about, I think you should look at our article on how to install Joonbot on Adalo first.
Let's say you have a FAQ chatbot within your coaching app in Adalo, and you want to call the logged-in user by his name.
Here are the steps to follow:
1. Go to your Joonbot and edit your first block to add the {{JB_NAME}} variable that the user name will fill.
2. Go to your Adalo mobile app in your screen containing your chatbot and edit your web view component by adding a query parameter with the same name as the variable you added on Joonbot earlier.
?JB_NAME=
3. Make the JB_NAME variable equal to the user's full name by using the "T" button.
4. Preview your app to check if you see the user name in your chatbot conversation.
You are done! ✅
