Adding a chatbot to your Softr website is easy. You need only four clicks, and you are ready to go!

Requirement: you need to subscribe to the starter plan on Softr to be able to add custom code.

Adding the Joonbot widget on all my website

Here are the steps to follow:

1. Go to your Softr builder and click on "Settings" in the left navbar and on "Custom code".

2. Go to your Joonbot account, click on "Configure" in the navbar and on "Share" in the sub-navbar. Now click on the "copy script" button of the widget.

3. Paste the code inside the header and save.

4. Now, click on the publish button you'll find in the right corner and click on the "publish" button.

5. You can check that your chatbot is installed by visiting your Softr website using the button with the link. The preview mode doesn't display the chatbot.

Adding the Joonbot widget on a specific page

Here are the steps to follow:

1. Go to your Softr builder and click on "Pages" in the left navbar, find your page, click on the "..." and on "Settings".

2. Now, click on "custom code".

3. Go to your Joonbot account, click on "Configure" in the navbar and on "Share" in the sub-navbar. Now click on the "copy script" button of the widget.

4. Paste the code inside the header and save.

5. Now, click on the publish button you'll find in the right corner and click on the "publish" button.

6. You can check that your chatbot is installed by visiting your Softr website using the button with the link. The preview mode doesn't display the chatbot.

Embedding Joonbot into a page

Here are the steps to follow:

1. Go to your Softr builder and select the page where you want to embed your chatbot.

2. Add a new block by clicking on a "+" button where you want to install your chatbot.

3. Choose "custom code" as block type.

4. Now, go to your Joonbot account, click on "Configure" in the navbar and on "Share" in the sub-navbar. Now click on the "copy script" button of the embed.

5. Paste the code inside the custom code block.

6. Now, click on the publish button in the right corner and click on the "publish" button.

7. You can check that your chatbot is installed by visiting your Softr website using the button with the link. The preview mode doesn't display the chatbot.

🚨 You don't see your chatbot?

It's not possible to have two chatbots on the same page, so check if you previously installed a chatbot on the same page using the widget format.
