With the email block, you can send in real-time an email to the user or one of your team members when the email block is reached.
Send an email to the chatbot user
In the case you want to send an email to your chatbot users, you first need to ask them their emails.
For that, you can use the email block available within the "ASK A QUESTION" part of the sidebar.
For example, you can save the answer under the variable name "email".
Then, add an email block available within the "ASK A QUESTION" part of the sidebar in the conversation.
In the "To" field, write "email" between {{}}, change the subject and the message using variables or hidden fields if you need. You are done!
Send an email to one of your team members
If you want to send an email to one of your team members, it's easy!
Write his email in the "To" field. Then, change the subject and the message using variables or hidden fields if you need.
You are done!
Pro tip: You can use the existing variable {{conversation}} to display into your email body the detailed conversation that happened before reaching the email notification block. This way, you don't need to save all previous answers under new names and write them into the email body.
