How to use the goal block?
A goal is an objective you want to track, a conversion. So you can track every step you feel useful: booking appointment, email or phone number collected, etc.
You can add goals wherever you want in the conversation flow. When the goal block is reached, you have a new conversion.
You'll be able then to see your statistics and track your conversion rates in the Analytics tab.
How to create a goal?
Let's take an example. I want to track the number of meetings booked in a specific conversational path and the number of emails grabbed in another one.
To create those goals, I only need to add a block right after the Calendly block and another one right after the email as you can see below.
Your goal will be visible in the Analytics tab once it has been reached during a conversation.
How conversions are calculated?
You have a new conversion when the related goal block is reached.
Conversion rate corresponds to the number of times the goal is reached divided by the number of people who started a conversation with the bot.
As you can see in the example below, one of the four people who started a conversation with the bot gave his email.
